Forestville Manufacturing Co., (J. C. Brown), Forestville, Conn., C.1845, 8-day time/strike column & cornice shelf clock.
CONDITION:
refinished mahogany veneered case in clean condition with small veneer loss on the top molding and a small piece missing on the left side. Original painted dial is very clean with some loss at the mounting pins. Hands are original. Both tablets are original. Clean label inside case. Overall a very good example of this J. C. Brown model; the only minus is a pair of replaced weights. Ht 31.5"
